To add a new clock, choose Pane > Clocks to open the Clocks pane and click the New Clock button. 1. Select the city or time zone you want to associate to your new clock. To display time zones and world times (Coordinated Universal Time, Internet Time) in the list, click City in the column heading and select Time Zone in the displayed pop-up menu.
Cities can be sorted by name or country and time zones can be sorted by name or abbreviation by clicking the corresponding column headings. To reverse the sort order, click the triangle that appears when a column is selected. To resize a column, point to the vertical line between columns. When the pointer changes, drag the column to a new size. 2. If you want your clock to display a text which differs from the selected city's name or time zone's abbreviation, type it in the Alternate text field. You can use the alternate text to abbreviate long city names or show names (e.g. your kids' or friends' names, company names, ... ) instead of cities and time zone abbreviations. 3. Specify your new clock's format. World Clock Deluxe lets you show:
4. Specify your new clock's date and time format: select System setting in the Date format and Time format pop-up menus if you want to use the formats specified in the International pane of your System Preferences or choose a region to select the corresponding format. 5. If you wish, assign a label and color to your new clock: 10 labels and colors are available in the Label pop-up menu. Click OK to close the dialog and add the new clock. If the Keep clocks arranged by checkbox in the Clocks pane is selected, the clock is inserted so that the current sorting is observed. Otherwise it is added at the end of the list: to move it to a different position, simply drag it in the list.
