Menus preferences

The Menus pane of World Clock Deluxe Preferences lets you configure the Clocks palette pop-up menu, the Dock icon menu and the menu associated with the World Clock Deluxe icon or clock in the menu bar.

• Menu

Use the Menu pop-up menu to choose the menu you wish to configure. Select Palette to configure the pop-up menu which is displayed when you click a clock in the palette. Select Dock to customize the menu that appears when you press the World Clock Deluxe icon in the Dock. Select Menu bar to configure the menu associated with the World Clock Deluxe icon or clock on the right end of the menu bar.

The Menu pop-up menu has no Dock item when the World Clock Deluxe icon in the Dock is hidden.

• Weekday, Date and Time

Select the Weekday and/or Date and/or Time checkboxes to display your local date and/or time in the menu you are configuring.

• Display time with seconds and Display time with UTC offset

If you are showing your local time in the menu you are configuring, select the Display time with seconds and Display time with UTC offset to display seconds and your offset in hours and minutes ±hhmm from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).

• Show clocks

Select the Show clocks checkbox to display clocks in the menu you are configuring. Select the All clocks radio button to list all your clocks in the menu.

If you are customizing the Clocks palette pop-up menu, select the Palette clocks radio button to list only the clocks that are visible in the palette and the Other clocks radio button to list only the clocks that are hidden in the palette.

Similarly, if you are customizing the Dock menu, select the Dock clocks radio button to list only the clocks that are visible in the Dock and the Other clocks radio button to list only the clocks that are hidden in the Dock.

Finally, if you are customizing the menu associated with the World Clock Deluxe icon or clock in the menu bar, select the Menu bar clocks radio button to list only the clocks that are visible in the menu bar and the Other clocks radio button to list only the clocks that are hidden in the menu bar.
