Weather preferences

The Weather pane of World Clock Deluxe Preferences lets you automatically clear weather reports when quitting and change the way reports are displayed in the Weather Reports window.

• Clear weather reports when quitting

Select the Clear weather reports when quitting checkbox if you want to automatically delete the weather reports you have retrieved when quitting.

• Show recent weather reports only and Reports are recent if issued maximum ... before download

Select the Show recent weather reports only checkbox if you want to display recent weather reports only when retrieving them from the Internet. Tell me more

Use the Reports are recent if issued maximum pop-up menu to specify the time span during which you want reports to be considered recent.

• Show date and time of reports in

Use the Show date and time of reports in pop-up menu to change the way dates and times of weather reports are displayed. You can indicate dates and times using Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), station local times and your local time. Tell me more

• Temperature

Use the radio buttons to indicate temperatures (air temperature, dew point, windchill, heat index) in degrees Fahrenheit (° F) or Celsius (° C) in weather reports.

• Visibility

Use the radio buttons to indicate visibility in miles or kilometers (km) in weather reports.

• Pressure

Use the radio buttons to indicate atmospheric pressure in inches of mercury (inHg) or hectopascals (hPa) in weather reports.

• Wind speed

Use the radio buttons to indicate wind speeds in knots, miles per hour (mph), kilometers per hour (km/h) or meters per second (m/s) in weather reports.

Changing unit affects retrieved reports, too.
