MaBaSoft releases Application Wizard 2.3 (December 17, 2007)
Application Wizard provides easy access to your applications, documents and pictures. It lets you quickly open, quit, show and hide applications, open them automatically at startup and force them to open using Rosetta, turn single application mode on and quit background-only applications and the Finder.
With Application Wizard you can also navigate volumes and frequently used folders to quickly open enclosed items, easily access favorite files, recent folders, Address Book contacts and your iPhoto or Aperture library, preview images, music, movies and PDF files, copy pictures and display slideshows, view the metadata associated with files and check system memory usage.

The Address Book item can now be added to the Special menu, so that you can quickly access your Address Book contacts. Application Wizard lets you view cards, display phone numbers in large type, create pre-addressed email messages, visit home pages, invite contacts to a chat, copy addresses as mailing labels and create vCards. |

Application Wizard can now be shown in the menu bar by selecting the Show buttons in menu bar checkbox in the General pane. Besides the normal positioning in the menu bar, Application Wizard lets you force buttons to always appear to the left of all your other status items or display them centrally between status items and menu extras or position them to the right of all menu extras, immediately before the Spotlight icon. |

A bug that caused the Add to iPhoto command not to be available in image previews if the iPhoto Library item wasn't added to the Special menu has been fixed. |

A bug that caused the menu panel to be visible when iPhoto was in full-screen view and the menu bar was displayed has been fixed. |

Cities and and DST rules have been revised and updated. The Brazilian regions observing daylight-saving time (Central-West, Southeast and South) changed DST rule (second Sunday in October to third Sunday in February). Syria, due to Ramadan which this year lasts from September 13 to October 12, decided to postpone the end of daylight-saving time from October 1 to November 1. |

Two world clock utilities in a bundle for enterprises and institutions: MaBaSoft and WR Consulting have partnered to provide a bundle of their respective products World Clock Deluxe for Mac OS X and ZoneTick World Time Zone Clock for Windows to organizations needing to support both operating systems.

Daylight-saving time information for New Zealand, the Amundsen-Scott and McMurdo stations in Antarctica and the Turks and Caicos Islands has been updated. The Turks and Caicos Islands adopted the new United States DST rule (second Sunday in March to first Sunday in November), while beginning in September 2007, daylight-saving time in New Zealand, Amundsen-Scott and McMurdo will start on the last Sunday in September and end on the first Sunday in April. |

It lets you open, quit, show and hide single applications or groups of applications, open applications automatically at startup, force applications to open using Rosetta, quit background-only applications or the Finder and turn single application mode on.
With Application Wizard you can also quickly navigate volumes and frequently used folders, easily access favorite files and recent folders, preview pictures, music, movies, PDF and text files, display the metadata embedded in pictures or songs, check system memory usage and view uptime.

Application windows can now be shown in the Switch menu, so that you can easily bring a specific window to the front when making an application active. To display windows in the Switch menu, select the Show application windows in Switch menu checkbox in the Menus pane. |

Single application mode can now be turned on using Application Wizard. You can either select the Turn on single application mode checkbox in the Menus pane or add the Turn Single Application Mode On/Off command to the Switch menu and use it to quickly toggle single application mode. In single application mode only the foreground application is visible, while inactive applications are automatically hidden. |

Recent applications can now be sorted from the most recent one to the oldest one. To sort recent applications by date, choose Sort chronologically from the Recent Applications submenu. |
