I can't use World Clock Deluxe because it is x-ed off in the Control Strip. What's wrong?

A bug causes World Clock Deluxe 3.1 to be always inactive in the Control Strip if Extensions Strip is also installed. To solve the problem, download and install World Clock Deluxe 3.1.3.

World Clock Deluxe requires Extensions Strip 2.0bx. Upgrade Extensions Strip.

I can't use World Clock Deluxe because it is dimmed. What's wrong?

It isn't possible to run more World Clock Deluxe Strip modules at one time. Therefore, if you have more World Clock Deluxe Strip copies in your Control Strip Modules folder, one copy will effectively run and all other copies will be dimmed.

Similarly, if you have more module hosts installed, World Clock Deluxe Strip will effectively run from one module host and be dimmed in all other module hosts. If you have more module hosts installed and wish to use World Clock Deluxe from a particular module host, please refer to the Installation chapter in the World Clock Deluxe Documentation file for installation guidelines.

I've just upgraded to version 3.1.1. My module host crashes if I try to install World Clock Deluxe Strip 3.1.1. What's wrong?

A bug in version 3.1.1 causes a crash when World Clock Deluxe Strip tries to read preferences created by version 3.0. To solve the problem, download and install World Clock Deluxe 3.1.3.

Does World Clock Deluxe support the 2007 United States and Canada daylight-saving time changes?

Yes, World Clock Deluxe 3.1.3 supports the new United States and Canada daylight-saving time rule (second Sunday in March to first Sunday in November).

World Clock Deluxe displays wrong times. How can I reset them?

Your problem is due to the fact that your computer's time zone is incorrectly set. Open the Date & Time control panel and click the Set Time Zone button. Select your closest city in the list and click OK. Make sure that daylight-saving time is correctly set and adjust your computer's clock.

How do I add a UTC or Internet Time clock?

To add a UTC or Internet Time clock, open the Add Clock dialog, click the City column heading and hold it until a pop-up menu is displayed. Choose Time Zone in the pop-up menu to display time zones in the list and select Coordinated Universal Time or Internet Time. Click OK to add the clock.

For latitudes and longitudes in the United States and Antarctica use the U.S. Board on Geographic Names Geographic Names Information System, for latitudes and longitudes outside the United States and Antarctica go to the GEONet Names Server GNS Search page.

For UTC offsets and daylight-saving time information visit the time and date.com site.

How can I list clocks vertically?

To list clocks vertically, use Extensions Strip as module host (World Clock Deluxe requires version 2.0bx). Option-click a strip's tab to switch it to vertical orientation.
