Application Wizard lets you automatically hide empty groups in the Open, Quit, and Switch menus and allows you to make group menu items choosable to quickly open, quit, show, or hide groups of applications.
Open Application Wizard. On macOS 13 or later, choose Application Wizard > Settings. On macOS 12 or 11, choose Application Wizard > Preferences. Then click Menus.
If you want to automatically hide empty groups in the Open, Quit, and Switch menus, select the “Hide empty groups” checkbox.
If you want to be able to quickly open, quit, show, or hide all the applications belonging to a group by choosing the group menu item in the Open, Quit, or Switch menu, select the “Make group menu items choosable” checkbox.
