Disable previews for specific file types

Application Wizard lets you disable the preview of specific types of files in the Special menu.

To disable previews for specific file types:

  1. Open Application Wizard.

  2. On macOS 13 or later, choose Application Wizard > Settings. On macOS 12 or 11, choose Application Wizard > Preferences. Then click Previews.

  3. Select the “Do not preview files with extension” checkbox.

  4. Enter the extensions of the files you do not want to preview. Separate extensions with a space and do not include the leading dot.
