Running applications include automatically terminated applications. If you prefer not to show them, choose “Don’t show” or “Include in Background Processes” from the “Automatically terminated applications” pop-up menu in the Menus pane of Application Wizard Settings (macOS 13 or later) or Application Wizard Preferences (macOS 12 or 11).

If you often work with many open windows and want to be able to bring specific windows to the front when switching between applications, select the “Show application windows” checkbox in the Switch Menu pane of the Menus window. Choose a window from the submenu to switch to the application and bring the window to the front.
