You can choose the currency in terms of which rates are expressed in your converter’s bottom bar.
Choose File > Currencies.
In the list, select the currency which you want to set as base currency.
Click the Set Base Currency button in the toolbar.
Specify how you wish to quote rates.
Always quote rates against base currency: Choose this option if you want rates to be always calculated against the base currency, even when they refer to currencies which are stronger than the base currency.
This option is best suited for high-value currencies (US dollar, euro, pound sterling, ... ).
Quote rates against stronger currency: Choose this option if you want to display rates which are always greater than the unit.
This option is best suited for low-value currencies (South Korean won, Colombian peso, Indonesian rupiah, ... ).
Click OK to set the base currency.
Click the magnifying glass icon in the Search bar in the toolbar and choose “All Currencies” from the pop-up menu.
Type “base currency” in the Search bar.
