World Clock Deluxe lets you customize the menu that appears when you press and hold its icon in the Dock. You can add your local date and time to the menu, decide which clocks should be displayed, and show daylight-saving time transitions.
On macOS 13 or later, choose World Clock Deluxe > Settings. On macOS 12 or earlier, choose World Clock Deluxe > Preferences. Then click Menus.
Choose Dock from the Menu pop-up menu.
To show your local date and time in the Dock menu, select the "Show weekday", "Show date", and "Show time" checkboxes.
To specify the format of your local weekday, choose Short or Full from the "Show weekday" pop-up menu.
To specify the format of your local date, choose Short, Medium, or Long from the "Show date" pop-up menu.
To display your local time with seconds, select the "Display seconds" checkbox.
To show your offset from UTC, select the "Display UTC offset" checkbox.
By default, World Clock Deluxe lists all your clocks in the Dock menu.
To show only the clocks that are visible in the Dock, choose "Dock clocks" from the "Show clocks" pop-up menu.
To show only the clocks that aren't visible in the Dock, choose "Other clocks" from the "Show clocks" pop-up menu.
If you do not want to show clocks, deselect the "Show clocks" checkbox.
If you would like to know when your clocks will switch to daylight-saving or standard time, select the "Show DST transitions" checkbox. The Dock menu will list when (and in how many days) each city will switch to daylight-saving or standard time and mark the clocks that are about to change with an asterisk (*). You can choose the format of transition dates (short, medium, long, or full) from the "Use date format" pop-up menu.
If you want to quickly apply the same settings to the Clocks palette pop-up menu and to the World Clock Deluxe status menu, click the "Apply to All Menus" button.
