Customize the Meeting Planner

World Clock Deluxe lets you customize the Meeting Planner in several ways. You can for instance choose a color theme, specify the duration of time slots, and decide which information must appear in the table.

To choose a color theme:

  1. Choose View > Meeting Planner.

  2. Choose a color theme from the Appearance submenu of the Action pop-up menu (looks like a gear) at the bottom of the table. Each theme uses three different colors to identify daytime hours, morning and evening hours, and nighttime hours.

To specify when mornings, days, evenings, and nights start:

  1. Choose View > Meeting Planner.

  2. Click the Options button.

  3. Choose the hours when you want mornings, days, evenings, and nights to start.

  4. Click OK to close the dialog.

To view one or more consecutive days:

  1. Choose View > Meeting Planner.

  2. Choose a time range (24, 36, 48, or 72 hours) from the Span submenu of the Action pop-up menu at the bottom of the table.

To specify the duration of time slots:

  1. Choose View > Meeting Planner.

  2. Choose a duration (1 hour, 30 minutes, or 15 minutes) from the Interval submenu of the Action pop-up menu at the bottom of the table.

To specify the format of the date displayed in the table's first column:

  1. Choose View > Meeting Planner.

  2. Choose a format (short, medium, or long) from the Date Format submenu of the Action pop-up menu at the bottom of the table.

To specify the information displayed for each time slot:

  1. Choose View > Meeting Planner.

  2. Select or deselect items in the Show submenu of the Action pop-up menu at the bottom of the table. For each city and time slot you can show:

    • the local weekday,

    • a date change indicator ("--" indicates that the local date is two days before the date you specified for the meeting, "-" indicates that the local date is one day before the date you specified for the meeting, "+" indicates that the local date is one day after the date you specified for the meeting, and "++" indicates that the local date is two days after the date you specified for the meeting),

    • the local offset in hours and minutes ±hhmm from Coordinated Universal Time,

    • the local time zone abbreviation (e.g. EST or EDT for New York),

    • a daylight-saving time indicator (DST Indicator indicates that daylight-saving time is in effect and No DST Indicator indicates that daylight-saving time is not in effect or not used).

To show or hide Coordinated Universal Time:

  1. Choose View > Meeting Planner.

  2. Select or deselect UTC in the Show submenu of the Action pop-up menu at the bottom of the table.

    UTC is always the first column in the table and can't be moved.

To show or hide date separators:

  1. Choose View > Meeting Planner.

  2. Select or deselect Date Separators in the Show submenu of the Action pop-up menu at the bottom of the table.

    Date separators help you quickly identify the last time slot of each day.
