I don't know where to find a new city's latitude & longitude

Geographical coordinates can be easily found by quering the GeoNames database.

To find a city's latitude and longitude:

  1. Choose Help > Look Up Latitude & Longitude. Your browser will take you to the GeoNames website.

  2. Choose a country from the "all countries" pop-up menu, type the name of the city in the text field, and click "search".
