Choose how to display dates and times in weather reports

World Clock Deluxe can display dates and times of weather reports in three different ways: using Coordinated Universal Time, using weather station local times, and using your local time.

To change how dates and times are displayed in weather reports:

  1. On macOS 13 or later, choose World Clock Deluxe > Settings. On macOS 12 or earlier, choose World Clock Deluxe > Preferences. Then click Weather.

  2. Choose a format from the "Show date and time in" pop-up menu.

    • Coordinated Universal Time makes it easy to compare dates and times of reports issued by different weather stations. Times in Coordinated Universal Time are displayed using the "hhmm UTC" format (e.g. 1430 UTC).

    • Station local times let you easily see whether reports were issued in the morning, in the afternoon, or during the night. Station local times are displayed indicating their offset ±hhmm from UTC (e.g. 9:30 AM -0500).

    • Using your local time you can easily calculate the time elapsed since reports were issued.

  3. Choose a date format (short, medium, long, or full) from the "Date format" pop-up menu.

You can change the way dates and times of reports are displayed at any time, including while retrieving weather reports: World Clock Deluxe updates all the reports listed in the Weather Reports window.
