Add custom applications

To add a custom application:

1. Open Application Wizard.

2. On macOS 13 or later, choose Application Wizard > Settings. On macOS 12 or 11, choose Application Wizard > Preferences. Then click Applications.

3. Click the Add (+) button at the bottom of the list, browse and select the application, and click Add. Alternatively, you can drag the application from the Applications panel or from the Finder to the list.

To customize the behavior of an application:

• If you want the application not to become active when you open it, select the “Do not activate” checkbox in the “At launch” section.

• If you want to automatically hide the application when you open it, select the “Hide application” option in the “At launch” section.

• If you want to automatically hide the other applications when you open the application, select the “Hide other applications” option in the “At launch” section.

• If you want to keep the application visible when you choose Hide Others from the Switch menu, select the “Do not hide on Hide Others” option.

• If you want to keep the application always visible in single application mode, select the “Do not hide in single application mode” option.

• If you want the application not to appear in the Recent Items submenu of the Apple menu, select the “Do not add to Recent Items” option.

• If you want the application not to appear in the Recent Applications submenu of the Open menu, select the “Do not add to Recent Applications” option.

• If the application is Universal and you want to force it to run using Rosetta on an Apple Silicon Mac, select the “Open using Rosetta” option.
