Application Wizard lets you quickly show and hide single applications or groups of applications.
Show a hidden application
Choose the application from the Switch menu.
Show all hidden applications
Choose Show All from the Switch menu.
Use the “Show all applications” keyboard shortcut.
Show all applications in a group
Display the Switch menu and choose an application from the group’s submenu (all applications in the group will be shown and the choosen application will be made active).
Display the Switch menu and choose Show All from the group’s submenu.
If you have selected the “Make group menu items choosable” checkbox in the Menus pane of Application Wizard Settings (macOS 13 or later) or Application Wizard Preferences (macOS 12 or 11), choose the group from the Switch menu.
Show all applications in a group and hide the other applications
Display the Switch menu and choose “Show All and Hide Others” from the group’s submenu.
If you have selected the “Make group menu items choosable” checkbox in the Menus pane of Application Wizard Settings (macOS 13 or later) or Application Wizard Preferences (macOS 12 or 11), hold down the Shift key and choose the group from the Switch menu.
Hide the active application
Use the “Hide active application” keyboard shortcut.
Hide an application
Display the Switch menu, hold down the Option key, and choose the application.
Hide all applications except the active application
Choose Hide Others from the Switch menu.
Use the “Hide other applications” keyboard shortcut.
Hide all applications in a group
Display the Switch menu and choose Hide All from the group’s submenu.

Turn single application mode on and off
Choose Turn Single Application Mode On/Off from the Switch menu.
Use the “Turn single application mode on/off” keyboard shortcut.
Temporarily show more applications in single application mode
Display the Switch menu and link multiple applications by pressing the Command key.
