The Menus pane of Application Wizard Settings (macOS 13 or later) or Application Wizard Preferences (macOS 12 or 11) lets you customize the appearance of the Open, Quit, Switch, and Special menus, make group menu items choosable, show automatically terminated applications, and enable keyboard shortcuts to quickly display menus.
Show icons
Deselect to hide icons in the Open, Quit, Switch, and Special menus.
Use smaller font
Select to reduce the font size in the Open, Quit, Switch, and Special menus.
Hide empty groups
Select to automatically hide empty groups in the Open, Quit, and Switch menus.
Make group menu items choosable
Select if you want to be able to quickly open, quit, show, or hide all the applications belonging to a group by choosing the group menu item in the Open, Quit, or Switch menu.
Automatically terminated applications
Choose whether not showing automatically terminated applications, or showing them in the Quit and Switch menus by including them in the Running Applications list, or showing them in the Quit menu by including them in the Background Processes submenu.
Keyboard shortcuts list
Keyboard shortcuts to display the Open, Quit, Switch, and Special menus are listed.
To enable a keyboard shortcut, select its checkbox in the Active column of the list. To change a keyboard shortcut, double-click the key combination in the Shortcut column and press the new key combination. To specify where a menu appears after you press its key combination, choose a position (pointer, center of the screen, screen corner) from the pop-up menu in the Position on Screen column.
