When Currency Assistant updates rates, it logs results so that you can easily find out if any currencies couldn’t be updated and why.
Choose Window > Logs.
Each log contains a header with the date and time of the update, a body listing currencies and update results, and a summary indicating the number of currencies, the number of updated rates, and the number of rates that were not be updated.
Errors appear in red so that you can easily spot them.
If you selected the “Try other sources if rate is not available on favorite website” option in the Rates Update pane of Currency Assistant Settings (macOS 13 or later) or Currency Assistant Preferences (macOS 12 or earlier), rates not found on your favorite website and updated from a different source will appear in grey and will be marked with an asterisk (*).
Click in the Filter bar in the upper-right corner of the Logs window.
Type the text you want to find.
Select the text you want to save.
Click the Save Selection button in the toolbar.
Type a name for the file and select a folder to save it in.
Click the Save button.
Click the Clear button in the toolbar.
Logs are automatically cleared when you quit Currency Assistant.
