World Clock Deluxe lets you rotate clocks in the Dock, that is display them alternately in the Dock icon.
On macOS 13 or later, choose World Clock Deluxe > Settings. On macOS 12 or earlier, choose World Clock Deluxe > Preferences. Then click Dock.
Select the "Rotate clocks in the Dock" checkbox.
To adjust the time each clock is displayed, drag the time interval slider.
To add an effect to the transition between clocks, choose an effect (Fade, Slide horizontally, Slide vertically) from the Effect pop-up menu.
To show analog clocks in the Dock, choose "Analog clocks" from the Style pop-up menu.
Clocks in the Dock can use either dark text on a light background or light text on a dark background. If you wish to change your clocks' background, select or deselect the "Light text on dark background" checkbox.
For a better readability, World Clock Deluxe shortens long city names, time zone abbreviations, and alternate texts to always use the maximum font size in the Dock icon. If you prefer to always display full names, deselect the "Shorten long cities/time zones/texts" checkbox. World Clock Deluxe will show long names by reducing their font size.
Clocks in the Dock always display city name, time zone abbreviation, or alternate text. If you want that a clock (your local clock, for example) shows the weekday and/or date in the Dock, configure it so that it shows weekday and/or date and hides city, time zone, and alternate text.
To gain a quick overview of clocks, press and hold the Dock icon: all your clocks will appear in the Dock menu. You can customize the menu so that it lists only the clocks that are visible in the Dock or, conversely, only the clocks that aren't visible in the Dock.
Note: You cannot rotate clocks in the Dock when the World Clock Deluxe icon in the Dock is hidden. If you want to rotate clocks in the Dock, you must show the icon in the Dock. On macOS 13 or later, choose World Clock Deluxe > Settings. On macOS 12 or earlier, choose World Clock Deluxe > Preferences. Then click Advanced and deselect the "Hide World Clock Deluxe icon in the Dock" checkbox.
